It's been a hundred years since they showed up. The animals that drove humanity to the edge of termination. Those beasts that know only slaughtering. We don't know anything about them. We don't know why they are here. Our exclusive trust is to pull together. We need to hold fast. Dividers. Dividers will hold them. I fear the day that we should fall behind dividers and stow away. Behind the dividers is survival, yet behind the dividers we live like cows. Behind the dividers we are protected from them. Those things who's name we fear... Titans.
Not awful, isn't that so? Our anime thuds us into a world where humankind is almost chased to annihilation by humanoid beasts known as titans. Nobody knows where they originated from or why they are here, however they are destructive. Indeed, even humankind's most talented contenders are insufficient to stop them. The main decision humankind had was to assemble dividers. Towering dividers. Humanity combined in their season of anguish, building monstrous dividers to keep out the wicked titans. For a hundred years the dividers held. It came to the heart of the matter where regular folks inside the dividers questioned the requirement for a military, they questioned the need to attempt and reclaim arrive from the titans. All it took was one day, the day when the goliath titan towered over the divider. Not a spirit could avoid its look. With one kick, he reminded humanity why they ought to fear the titans.
